SAP Product Developer

We have an immediate need for an SAP Product Developer who will be based at our world headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The Product Developer will be responsible for preparing requirements/design/unit test documents and developing software products using Agentry. The product developer works in a team environment, coordinating with other product developers, team leaders, customers, and other Syclo personnel.

Responsibilities

Follow Syclo’s product development process as defined below:

1. Prepare functional requirements and present them to the development and management team for approval
2. Prepare detailed design specifications and present them to the development team for approval
3. Prepare unit test plans and present them to the development team for approval
4. Get all required signatures for documents prepared
5. Participate in integration testing for all software builds
6. Provide accurate time estimates for tasks identified above
7. Develop software products in accordance with Syclo’s development standards (naming conventions, comments, etc) and as specified in a approved design document
8. Test software in accordance with Syclo’s testing standards as defined in the unit test plans
9. Provide support to quality assurance and consulting services as needed
10. Participate in team meetings
11. Work effectively and cooperatively with other team members

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of SAP experience and knowledge of at least three modules. Currently our focus is in ERP (MM, SD, PM, PP, WM), CRM & SCM.
• Must be very strong in ABAP programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical area preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Java programming and analysis experience.
• Ability to work with complex product requirements.
• Ability to work with a variety of people in all organizational levels.
