Richard Padula
President and Chief Executive Officer

As Syclo's President, Chief Executive and Founder, Rich is a visionary in the mobile enterprise application space and has put together an experienced management team to guide Syclo's continued leadership in mobile computing solutions. With Rich’s foresight, Syclo’s annual revenues have grown each year since 1997.

Rich has been developing large-scale enterprise applications for more than 20 years. In 1989, he formed a consulting practice, Competitive Advantage Systems (CAS), which gained a reputation for helping its Fortune 1000 clientele achieve business process improvements through the use of information technology systems. While running CAS, Rich recognized the strong returns on investment that could be achieved with mobile business strategies and founded Syclo in 1995 to address the need for effective enterprise mobile computing solutions.

Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.

Jeffrey Kleban
Executive Vice President, Alliances & Partnerships

As Executive Vice President of Alliances and Partnerships, Jeff has been a key driving force in Syclo's growth since co-founding the company in 1995. Jeff directs the continued growth of Syclo's mobile solutions through strategic alliances with software vendors, hardware vendors, system implementers and resellers.

Under Jeff’s direction, Syclo has gained an expanding base of partners worldwide. In addition to helping major customers build mobile into their day-to-day workflow, Jeff also forged alliances with an array of key technology firms including Accenture, AT&T, Ciber, CSC, Esri, IBM, Microsoft, Motorola, Panasonic, RIM, SAP, TRIRIGA and Vesta.

Jeff is a noted writer and speaker on mobile and wireless computing capabilities across industries, having been involved in their evolution.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mark Schlossberg
Chief Financial Officer

Mark has over 20 years of experience in financial leadership, applications and analysis. He is responsible for overseeing all of Syclo’s finance and accounting process and staff as well as IT. He brings extensive experience in corporate strategy, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to his role. Prior to joining Syclo, Mark served in senior roles at Chicago Trust Company and William Blair & Company.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University, with a major in Economics and a minor in Computer Studies, and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago.  He has also been designated a Certified Financial Analyst by the Association for Investment Management and Research.

Bill Moylan
Executive Vice President, Sales

Bill brings a commitment to and a philosophy of solving customer needs to Syclo by both leading the business development teams and working with customers directly.

Previously, Bill was Vice President of Tealeaf Technology’s Central Region. Prior to that, he served as Eastern Region Sales Manager at MRO Software (and IBM after their purchase of the EAM systems provider), where he led business development. While at MRO Software/IBM, he worked closely with Syclo to provide best-in-class solutions to many joint customers.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Forest College, a Bachelor of Science from University of Illinois, with a major in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Northwestern University, J.L Kellogg School of Management.

Steve Hoffman
Executive Vice President, Professional Services

Steve is an accomplished professional services executive, with over 20 years of experience in both large multi-national companies and entrepreneurial start-ups. Steve oversees a dedicated team of consultants that deliver Syclo mobile as well as Customer Support and Solution Business Consultants.

Throughout his career, he’s led the development of professional services and product organizations in the mobile wireless, application software and e-commerce fields. Steve has served as a senior manager at several of the world’s industry-leading mobile wireless, scanning and barcoding manufacturers, including Sweda, Weber Marking Systems and Symbol (now Motorola). His past responsibilities at Symbol, where he led the North American professional services division, gives him depth in the wireless and mobile applications world.

Most recently, he focused on the development of the global professional services organization at Vocollect, the world leader in wireless voice solutions; an Intermec Business Unit.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science from Bradley University.

Marc Chesover
Managing Director, Syclo International Ltd.

Marc brings a wealth of international hands-on experience in market-leading software organizations to the Syclo management team, leading Syclo's international operations in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

Prior to Syclo, Marc was with Indus International as the Director of Strategic Alliances & Partners for EMEA and MRO Software (an IBM Company) where he was Manager, Partner Channel for EMEA. During his tenure at MRO Software, Marc was instrumental in structuring and building a reseller program comprising over 50 organizations in more than 26 countries.

Joe Granda
Executive Vice President, Marketing

Joe is responsible for marketing strategy, product marketing, promotions, marketing communications, social media, customer account management and our user conference (Syclo Mobile Conference). He leads the company's marketing efforts to boost Syclo’s visibility in the mobile community as well as lead product launches and new product strategy.

With more than 20 years of experience, Joe has a proven track record in marketing, sales and alliances with Internet, computer, and software companies. Prior to joining Syclo, Joe was Vice President of Business Development at CMS leading sales and marketing for an enterprise software firm. Previously he held senior marketing positions at GE, Orbit Commerce (e-Commerce software) and SPSS (business intelligence and data mining software).

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA in Marketing and Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Steven Bloomfield
Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Steve is a skilled Human Resources professional, bringing valued expertise to Syclo to help grow the business, improve profitability, and create a culture necessary to attract, retain, and motivate talented associates. He has more than 25 years of experience in senior Human Resource positions with a variety of market-leading, world-class manufacturing organizations.

Steve has served as a faculty member of DePaul University and Lewis University, and is currently a faculty member at Northwestern University. His professional credentials include designation as a Certified Compensation Professional from the American Compensation Association, as well as faculty status in the compensation and benefits professional certification programs.

Steve holds Bachelor of Arts and Master's degrees in Psychology from Duquesne University and a Master's in Industrial Psychology from West Virginia University.

Paul Chiapuris
Executive Vice President, Software Engineering and Quality

Paul is a software development, systems integration and network management visionary, bringing extensive experience to Syclo's engineering operations, He oversees the company's three product development teams as well as technical documentation, training, and quality assurance. He has also personally led more than 100 deployments of Syclo's mobile technology for customers worldwide.

Prior to joining Syclo, Paul worked for several years as a network engineer at Sprint, where he designed and implemented a LAN and WAN for more than 200 users in offices across Illinois. He also spent a year in programming at Sprint, where he was part of a team that developed a mobile repair/dispatch ticketing system.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Indiana University.

Rob Padula
Software Architect

Rob is the architect of Syclo's Agentry product and was part of the original Agentry development team after joining the company in 1995.

Drawing upon his experience in complex systems design, Rob continues to lead the development of Syclo's core technology.  Prior to joining Syclo, Rob was an analog circuits designer at Megatest Corp. in San Jose, California, a manufacturer of automated test equipment for the integrated circuit industry.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
