Syclo Executive Shares Vision of Machine-to-Machine Technology at M2M United

Hoffman Estates, Ill., June 28, 2005 – M2M United – Syclo's vice president of business development, William Clark, today spoke to an audience of industry professionals and analysts about how Syclo customers have been evolving their mobile deployments to include the latest in machine-to-machine (M2M) technology.

Clark's presentation focused on how M2M technology impacts mobile field service, specifically technicians who maintain facilities or critical machinery. He focused on the ability for machines to alert mobile workers to potential issues and providing specific data that would allow them to better troubleshoot or analyze the situation. The result of M2M technology is improved timeliness, accuracy, depth and agility when it came to resolving issues.

Syclo builds it mobile applications on its flexible development platform, Agentry, which allows application managers to easily add-on support for the latest mobile and wireless technology, including M2M, such as intelligent meters, RFID readers, GPS and more.

"Mobile technology, including devices, networks and applications, are constantly evolving.
