Syclo Announces Release of SMART for SAP 2.0

Enhancements made to product that extends PM Module for productivity gains

Hoffman Estates, Ill., January 17, 2006 – Syclo, a global leader in mobile software solutions, today announced the release of SMART for SAP version 2.0. The release is built on Syclo?s Agentry development platform. The improvements make SMART for SAP reflects a maturing knowledge of the SAP PM and SM modules by the Syclo development team.

SMART for SAP automates work flow for SAP PM & SM module users by incorporating a sophisticated and comprehensive set of work management features developed and refined for over a decade.

This release adds new ?notification? capability that sends technicians the latest task assignment directly to their device allowing them to better track their work. Enhancements added to version 2.0 include a ?hold? status for work orders, a transfer between crafts option and longer text fields for easier tech data captures. This latest version has improved connection and data upload speeds.

Organizations that have taken service and asset maintenance processes mobile have typically enjoyed gains in work completed by as much as 20% simply based on gaining time spent on service calls or equipment maintenance that was spent on completing paperwork.

SMART for SAP is pre-integrated and is highly configurable. It has the added benefit of helping organizations with the full deployment of the PM and SM modules for improved asset and service management.
