Syclo Announces Second Annual Mobile Conference

Welcomes returning speaker from Tube Lines to Discuss Role of Mobile Following July 2005 Bombings of the London Underground

Hoffman Estates, Ill., March 8, 2006 – Mobile computing solutions provider Syclo today announced it will host its second annual Syclo Mobile Conference on June 12-14 in suburban Chicago. The conference will bring together a community of innovators, including business managers and IT executives representing Global 1000 corporations, to discuss the latest business trends and technology developments for mobile computing.

This year's theme, "Shaping the Future with Mobile" will focus on developing a cross-enterprise mobile strategy that can impact business processes and overall profitability. In addition, existing customers will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to "Ask the Experts" about their specific individual deployment challenges or goals. This hands-on session will be led by members of the professional services team and promises to deliver significant value to attendees.

Another highlight of the conference will be the return of Martyn Capes of Tube Lines, the organization responsible for maintaining a major portion of the London Underground railway system. One year ago, Martyn received rave reviews from attendees who learned valuable lessons about implementing mobile in the first phase of a new system introduction and how to navigate sensitive change management issues. This year Martyn will focus on the growth of Tube Lines' mobile strategy across numerous departments, and will discuss the challenges faced by the group following the July 2005 bombings, and mobile's role in their recovery.

New product offerings featured in this year's sessions, include SMART Schedule, an automated solution that improves workload balancing, as well as the latest release of the company's Agentry mobile development platform, which includes numerous advanced features. In addition to technical break-out sessions, the conference will also provide plenty of direction for business leaders looking to create or refocus their overall mobile strategy.

User presentations will focus on building mobile applications that leverage data from a diverse range of backend applications and that are delivered to mobile workforces both within and without the four walls. Sessions covering the state of mobile will also continue to focus on selecting the best communications methods, devices, and peripherals, such as RFID, GPS and GIS, to gain greater value from mobile deployments.

The conference will be held at the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill. Technical breakout sessions begin on Monday, June 12 in the afternoon, followed by a welcome reception in the evening. The formal conference sessions begin on Tuesday, June 13 and continue on Wednesday, June 14. Attendees will enjoy an outing to a Cubs game on Tuesday evening following the day's conference.
