Syclo’s Mobile Solutions Earn SymbolPLUS Validation

Proven Mobile Products and Agentry Platform Achieve Objectives and Assure Compatibility through Solutions Validation Program

Hoffman Estates, Ill., May 18, 2006 – Syclo, a global leader in mobile software solutions, today announced that its SMART Mobile Suite of mobile solutions powered by Agentry has been granted SymbolPLUS Validated Software status through the Symbol Technologies' Solutions Validation Program. Syclo, a premier member of Symbol's PartnerSelect ISV Partner Program, had its solutions co-validated after completing a series of testing objectives and customer usage scenarios, further confirming compatibility between Symbol devices and Syclo's Agentry mobile platform.

The validation demonstrated both Syclo's Agentry and SMART application suite successfully functioning on Symbol's MC70 and MC50 Enterprise Digital Assistants (EDA) as well as the MC9060 and MC9090 rugged mobile computers. Transactions were processed both offline and online on the Symbol handheld mobile computers using serial, WLAN and WWAN communications. Syclo's Agentry platform and mobile applications successfully met the test objectives.

The Symbol Solutions Validation Program allows PartnerSelect members and customers to test their integrated solution at Symbol's Solutions Center testing facility in Holtsville, NY. To help ensure system interoperability, Symbol and Syclo engineers worked together to validate the integrated end-to-end enterprise mobility solution with Symbol mobile computing, Wi-Fi networking, and enterprise mobility management products. Detailed test cases were constructed to exercise the intended functionality under a variety of customer usage scenarios.
