Syclo Announces New Features in Latest Release of Work Manager 4.2

Hoffman Estates, Ill., June 2, 2006 – Syclo today announced that version 4.2 of SMART Work Manager, also sold as Maximo Mobile Work Manager, is now available for general distribution. The latest release is built on Syclo's Agentry 4.0 development platform, which includes import/export and compare functionality for adding custom mobile functionality, a Visual Screen Editor and a new test environment.

The most widely deployed mobile solution for asset management, SMART Work Manager 4.2 incorporates a sophisticated rounds and condition monitoring application and an extensive calibrations tool. Companies now can enjoy more flexibility in selecting the mobile devices they deploy, with SMART Work Manager's added support for Windows Mobile 5, RIM devices, and full-size screens for laptops and tablets. Multi-site capabilities have been enhanced to allow organizations to selectively segment and distribute data – whether people, work or specific assets – according to organizational structure. For users of MRO Software's Maximo, the latest Work Manager release provides additional security by enabling Maximo labor code or user names to be used as a log-in ID.

Calibrations Functionality Appeals to Regulated Industries
The addition of a calibrations module enables customers from across regulated industries, in particular pharmaceutical manufacturing, and nuclear, utilities and oil and gas industries, to improve the accuracy of sensitive calibrations of measurement tools. Syclo's mobile calibrations solution provides organizations with the ability to remotely access and record calibration history so specific actions performed can be tracked for regulatory compliance. In addition, the mobile calibration tool ensures that technicians are following rigid rules for taking measurements, the correct standards are used to perform accurate calibrations, and warnings or alerts for actions are automatically generated and sent to the mobile user in response to unacceptable calibrations status.
