Syclo Announces Third Annual Mobile Conference

The 2007 program will be packed with technical, hands-on, mobile
application lab and business improvement sessions and workshops.

Hoffman Estates, Ill. – February 16, 2007 – Mobile computing solutions provider Syclo announced today they will host their third annual Syclo Mobile Conference from June 11-13 in suburban Chicago near O’Hare Airport. The conference will once again bring together a community of innovators, including business managers and IT executives representing Global 1000 corporations, to discuss the latest business trends and technology developments for mobile computing.

The theme for this year’s conference is "Adapting, Connecting and Growing,” with presentations and workshops to help customers adapt to constant technology changes, connect with peers and experts, and grow their mobile applications and worldwide usage of mobile technologies that streamline business processes. On the afternoon of Monday, June 11th, the popular ‘Ask the Experts’ sessions will take place, affording existing customers the opportunity to delve into the particulars of their specific deployment goals and challenges. A hands-on mobile applications ‘lab’ will also run throughout the conference beginning Monday afternoon.

New product offerings featured in this year's sessions include SMART Task Tracker, an automated solution that speeds plant turnarounds, as well as the latest release of Syclo’s Agentry™ mobile development platform, which includes numerous feature advancements. In addition to technical break-out sessions, the conference will also provide direction for business leaders looking to create or refocus their overall mobile strategy. User presentations will focus on building mobile applications that leverage data from a diverse range of back-end applications, deliverable to mobile workforces both within and outside their four walls. There are also mobile industry trend sessions planned, focused on selecting the best communications methods, devices and peripherals, such as RFID, GPS and GIS, to provide greater value from mobile deployments.

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill. Technical break-out sessions begin on Monday afternoon, June 11th, followed by the Sponsors’ Welcome Reception in the evening. The full conference sessions begin on Tuesday, June 12th and continue on Wednesday, June 13th. Attendees will also enjoy a Cubs game outing on Tuesday evening following the day's conference.
