Syclo Hosts Mobile Computing Conference,
Linking the Possible with What's Practical for Attendees

Hands-on Technology Lab, Voice Demos and User Presentations Draw Interest

Hoffman Estates, Ill. June 14, 2007 Syclo, a leading provider of mobile technology, yesterday concluded its third annual Syclo Mobile Conference at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare near Chicago. SMC '07, June 11-13, explored the theme "linking the possible with the practical." Group and breakout sessions featured customer presentations, leading-edge technology demonstrations and numerous networking opportunities that attracted scores of mobile technology customers, vendors and others with a strong interest in the field.

To ensure that the conference was engaging for attendees from around the world and across a wide range of industries, the event included an interactive Hands-on Technology Lab and Ask the Expert sessions.

In the Hands-on Technology Lab, open throughout the conference, visitors tried out mobile applications on laptop computers and hand-held devices that fully simulated the real-world functionality they need to do their jobs.

"The opportunity to experience Syclo's mobile technology firsthand was extremely valuable,' one attendee said about the lab. "I'm already looking forward to the new innovations we'll be able to test-drive at next year's conference."

Many attendees also expressed their enthusiasm for the Ask the Experts sessions, where they consulted with senior Syclo Professional Services Representatives about their organizations' specific mobile deployments.

The conference kicked off with a Global Roundtable moderated by Marc Chesover, Syclo's EMEA General Manager, which offered visitors a lively, informative discussion on how mobile technology can effectively handle global marketplace challenges such as multiple languages and government regulations.

Syclo's Chief Executive Officer and President Richard Padula introduced the agenda, underscored the conference theme and noted its goal of offering visitors a "mobile blueprint for success."

The breakout sessions provided conference visitors with a wealth of information regarding how mobile technology is used in such diverse fields as stadium management, petrochemicals, health care and plant and manufacturing services. Syclo also highlighted upcoming enhancements to its leading-edge technology products, such as its limitless Agentry™ platform and SMART Mobile Suite product line. Additionally, several customers including the Maryland Stadium Authority, Beaumont Services, a large metropolitan Detroit hospital and the Texas-based Lower Colorado River Authority public utility — told their mobile technology deployment success stories.

Voice functionality and its hands-free capability were also demonstrated in a presentation by CTG. During its breakout session, CTG unveiled its Vulcan Voice product that was developed with Syclo's Agentry platform. Such automation can streamline processes in many fields, including the warehousing and distribution center areas with which CTG works.

The 2007 conference sponsors made many important contributions to the event's success in terms of the expertise and networking opportunities they shared. Sponsors included Motorola/Symbol, Intermec, SMS, CSC, CTG and Clicksoftware.

Overall, the conference provided reams of valuable information that attendees could take back to their organizations for serious review. Many pledged to attend next year's conference.
