Mr. Kleban will be presenting at SAP-Centric EAM 2008 this week in Austin, TX both as a co-presenter with a leading energy firm as well as leading a workshop on mobility. He also will keynote a meeting of engineers and application managers at the MARTS 2008 conference April 16th in Rosemont, IL.

At SAP-Centric EAM 2008, a leading energy firm will present their story of implementing a mobile solution centered on SAP PM to improve operator rounds and notification creation, generating a ground swell of new opportunities to leverage the solution. This presentation will outline the solution, how it improves operator accountability and access to SAP PM information. They will also provide a demonstration of interfaces to several systems including a data historian. In the workshop “Technology Keys for Mobile Success”, Mr. Kleban will focus on five key criteria to address that will drive success in your deployment – security, connectivity, integration, scalability, and device & peripheral variance.

At MARTS 2008, Mr. Kleban’s presentation will focus on how proven mobile technology favorably impacts skilled technician productivity. Whether in the field or plant floor, maintaining pipelines, towers, facilities or manufacturing the on return mobile investments has been significant, sustained and steady for a decade. The presentation will help attendees identify the key issues that surround wireless and mobile deployments. Kleban will be covering key considerations such as integration to existing systems, availability of off-the-shelf products vs. builds, working in and out of wireless coverage and strategic use of a mobile platform. Kleban will also cover some of the findings from a recent survey of over a150 power users of mobile who point to data collection and uploads into their applications as just as powerful a benefit as the increased work completed by jettisoning paperwork from their operations.
