Don't miss this three and a half day course is designed for EAM system administrators that will put you on the path to adeptly managing your mobile deployment. Topics such as system management, choice of hardware, pros and cons of communication methods, in-depth troubleshooting, and deployment issues will be covered.
Requirements:
- Understanding of your business needs related to EAM and operational goals for your mobile deployment.
- Knowledge of Maximo at the application level.

- The device(s) you are deploying (an actual client installation is part of the curriculum)
- Appropriate handheld power & connection cords
Key Skills Taught:
- Mobile device management: Adding new users/new devices to your deployment, managing client issues. Learn Pocket PC-based device basics.
- Communications management: Understand the difference in modes of communication and synching, and how to manage individual/group preferences (for example, using docking cradle or intermittent transmissions for PM teams versus real-time wireless communication for your corrective maintenance teams).
- Application management: Gain a solid understanding of the system architecture. General troubleshooting and publishing changes/updates to the application.
