Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
This position must have knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance practices. This position will provide strategic leadership for the future direction of several of our maintenance products. It will involve working with Development, Customers, Prospects, Industry Analysts, Sales, Marketing and other Strategy associates to develop requirements for future releases of the product and then to collaborate with Development on designs to satisfy these requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in business, technical or related field; MBA a plus. Understanding of equipment and facilities maintenance concepts and the application of wireless to the maintenance market, strong understanding of the software development cycle and previous experience working in related capacities for a packaged software company. Experience working with work order, time recording, field service and other related applications.
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
The Mobile Solutions Consultant works with our clients to design, develop, debug, implement and document mobile software solutions for our customers. The mobile solutions consultant also prepares time estimates and justifications, assists with the management of project and project team and assists the sales team with the preparation of work estimates and proposals.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or 4 years’ related experience, plus 2-5 years as a programmer, programmer/analyst or business analyst. Applicants must be skilled in SQL, JAVA, XML, Visual Basic, or other programming languages. The ability to learn and work in a team environment and a willingness to travel are required.
Locations:
We have positions available in our Hoffman Estates headquarters and in our London office.
Software Engineer
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
1) Prepares requirements/design/unit test documents and develops software using C++ for Syclo’s software products. 2) Works in a team environment, coordinating with other software engineers, team leaders, the software architect, and customer support personnel. 3) Prepares functional requirements and presents them to the development and management team for approval.
Basic Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a technical Bachelors’ degree and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience writing C++ code for Windows based applications. Strong knowledge of and experience with MFC are also required. For Senior level applicants, a minimum of 8 years experience developing requirements documents, functional specifications, unit test documents and writing C++ code for Windows based applications is mandatory.
